Visualization is a reading strategy to try and get the image inside of your head.
Visualization is important because of the way the human brain processes information.
The story is about a rat that steal the travelers food and gets fat. After it get the duck but the duck said that her sister has goody's but it was a trick and the rat gets lost in the cave.
My visualization is different than mercy already knew the book but i didn't so I had to visualize in my head.
Place Value is a System that groups numbers based on their size.
The position of a digit determiners its value. When we say numbers we group them within the same house. For example 4084 has four thousand and eight tens four ones.
I went to AFL and there was a AFL Teacher.
it was Becs.
Becs teached us a new game.
It was to catch the ball, we had to be 3 groups and split out a little bit.
Then we throw the ball to each other and catch it.
Then pass it on to the next person.
On the field we did skills for playing. Aussie rules Australian football league.
We learnt how pass the rugby ball, first we have to have a partner then punch the rugby ball on the back, then your partner has to catch it.
Our next practising game is how to kick a rugby ball. We had to make a m with our hands and kick the ball to our partners my partner cached the ball.
Then it was his turn to kick the ball, he kicked the ball and I catch it. we took turns kicking and caching the ball.
I learnt the kick skills.
Our next practising game is to hit the targets.
We had to kick the ball to are targets Coach + Teachers. Also we kicked it to one of the students.
I learned about the Print Design Rules.
First Mr Wong taught us about the main aspects of the Print Design Rules,colour,layout,text,composition.
Next, I figured out which posters were good and bad with my partners.
Last, I reorganised a poster to make it look good.
I could work on aligning the text boxes.
I completed stage 4 in my prototec and my percentage was 50%. My score was 30/60 and my time 3m 55s.
I learnt how to write the alphabet,numbers and symbols property.
I watched a video to show neat handwriting. I wrote the characters neatly into my writing book.
I need to improve my Bs and Es.
We learnt about the 3 Ps in the Treaty of waitangi and how they apply to our learning.
First Mr Ogilvei introduced the 3 Ps in the Treaty of Waitangi. They are protection partnership & participation
Then in groups we wrote statements about the 3 Ps in LS1. LS1 figured out the 3 Ps are all connected.
After that we used our group ideas and thought about how they connected to me.
I choose these 3 statements because they will help me successful with my learning in LS1.
